Blockworks is a mixed-reality building experience designed exclusively for Apple Vision Pro.

Your room is the canvas. Build directly on your desk, floor, or walls. Watch as blocks naturally react and collide with your real-world room and your own hands in zero-G. Whether you want to follow relaxing step-by-step blueprints or see where your imagination takes you in an infinite sandbox, the space is yours to build.

When you’re done, place your builds in the room as decorations, share them over FaceTime or iMessage, or download other players’ designs to modify them yourself.

History & Origin

The idea for the game was incredibly organic. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, I simply wondered what it would feel like to play with toy building blocks in virtual reality. From those humble beginnings, the game started as an early PCVR experience before shifting its focus to the standalone Meta Quest 2, eventually releasing on the store. Later, I was presented with an amazing opportunity to join the Apple Vision Pro devkit program. This allowed me to port the game and create an entirely new, deeply integrated version for this specific platform. The headset’s advanced mixed-reality capabilities make it the absolute perfect fit for seamlessly blending virtual blocks into physical rooms.
